This technique has many sub-divisions with regards to quality and quantity of required water. It is worth mentioning that construction of large dams and withdrawing water from deep wells are not considered as WH methods. Instead, WH is mainly concerned with capturing and utilizing stream flows near the point where it is being generated by rain drops.
